<p>Un evento coinvolgente, esclusivo e frizzante, dove arte e cultura si uniscono in un magico connubio indissolubile. La serata, svoltasi al Master Club Fioccardo di Torino, inizia con splendida sfilata di abiti antichi Maya della collezione privata di <strong>Dalmaso Golfetto</strong>,indossate da deliziose modelle, dopo per la prima volta in pubblico la performance di “<strong>Cuerpo Poetado</strong>” del poeta Ermanno Eandi che scrive una sua opera sul corpo di un modello, la serata termina con la conferenza “<strong>L’antica profezia… I Maya e la fine del mondo</strong>” presentata dal prof. Michele Maoret (dipartimento di fisica e matematica – Università di Torino) in collaborazione dei suoi dinamici allievi.</p>

<p>Dieci opere, sei titoli della grande danza classica con il Balletto del Teatro Mariinskij di San Pietroburgo e, prima dell’apertura della Stagione, un omaggio a Beethoven con le Nove <em>Sinfonie </em>dirette da Gianandrea Noseda.</p>
<p>Una Stagione che ruota, idealmente, intorno al tema dell’<em>amore</em>, non solo quello che l’opera e la danza hanno declinato per secoli dotandolo di infinite sfumature, ma anche l’amore di chi per l’opera, con passione, lavora e di chi, con passione, ne è spettatore.</p>
<p>Sul palcoscenico del Regio si potrà così passare dalle ammalianti atmosfere del <em>Lago dei cigni </em>al sensuale esotismo di <em>Shéhérazade</em>, dalle geometrie dell’eros nel <em>Così fan tutte</em> di Mozart alla tempra del legame coniugale nel <em>Fidelio </em>di Beethoven, dai rocamboleschi sotterfugi nel <em>Barbiere di Siviglia </em>rossiniano all’amore materno della <em>Norma </em>di Bellini e a quello paterno di <em>Rigoletto</em>, dalle trame ordite da Verdi nel <em>Ballo in maschera </em>all’amore “gaio e terribile” dei <em>bohémien </em>di Puccini, capace poi con <em>Tosca </em>e <em>Madama Butterfly </em>di scavare come pochi altri nelle passioni umane, per finire con le diaboliche voluttà dell’<em>Angelo di fuoco</em> di Prokof’ev.</p>

<p>Dal 28 settembre al 6 ottobre, il Direttore musicale <strong>Gianandrea Noseda </strong>sarà sul podio di Orchestra e Coro del Regio per l’esecuzione integrale, suddivisa in quattro doppi concerti, delle <em>Sinfonie </em>di Ludwig van Beethoven.</p>
<p>L’inaugurazione della Stagione 2011-2012 è invece fissata il 14 ottobre e, per la prima volta nella storia moderna del Regio, si inizierà con la danza. Protagonista assoluto il <strong>Balletto del Teatro Mariinskij di San Pietroburgo</strong> che presenterà ben <strong>sei titoli </strong>per un totale di <strong>22 recite </strong>che si preannunciano da tutto esaurito. Si inizia con un <em>Omaggio a Fokin </em>(14-18/10) che racchiude il meglio della produzione del coreografo russo: <em>Danze polovesiane</em> dal <em>Principe Igor</em> di Aleksandr Borodin, <em>Le Spectre de la rose </em>di Carl Maria von Weber, <em>La morte del cigno </em>di Camille Saint-Saëns e <em>Shéhérazade </em>di Nikolaj Rimskij-Korsakov. Seguiranno due balletti creati da Marius Petipa: <em>La Bayadère </em>(21-25/10) di Ludwig Minkus, mai eseguito al Teatro Regio e, classico dei classici, <em>Il lago dei cigni </em>(28/10 &#8211; 6/11) di Pëtr Il&#8217;i? ?ajkovskij.</p>
<p>A dicembre (9-18) uno degli appuntamenti <em>clou</em>, con la messa in scena di <em>Fidelio </em>nel <strong>nuovo allestimento </strong>coprodotto con l’Opéra Royal de Wallonie di Liegi. L’unico titolo operistico di Ludwig van Beethoven sarà firmato dal regista Mario Martone con le scene di Sergio Tramonti e i costumi di Ursula Patzak. Sul podio Gianandrea Noseda, che prosegue così l’ideale omaggio a Beethoven iniziato a settembre con l’esecuzione delle <em>Sinfonie</em>. Tra gli interpreti, alcuni nomi di spicco del panorama internazionale come Ricarda Merbeth, Ian Storey, Lucio Gallo e Franz Hawlata.</p>

<p>Agennaio (10-22) il sipario si aprirà sulla <em>Tosca </em>di Giacomo Puccini. Sarà un <strong>nuovo allestimento </strong>– realizzato in coproduzione con Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía di Valencia, l’Opéra de Monte-Carlo e la Fondazione Festival Pucciniano – con la regia del monegasco Jean-Louis Grinda che si avvale delle scene di Isabelle Partiot-Pieri e dei costumi di Christian Gasc.<br />
Gianandrea Noseda dirigerà un cast stellare con Svetla Vassileva, Marcelo Álvarez e Lado Ataneli, che ritorna al Regio dopo il successo di Thaïs.</p>
<p>A febbraio (1-12) andrà in scena <em>L’angelo di fuoco </em>di Sergej Prokof’ev in un allestimento memorabile – mai visto in Italia – che proviene, insieme alla Compagnia di canto, dal Teatro Mariinskij. Sul podio non poteva che esserci uno dei più grandi interpreti del repertorio russo: Valery Gergiev; la regia è di David Freeman. Un’occasione rara per tornare a frequentare, ai massimi livelli, il teatro musicale russo dopo le affermazioni ottenute dalla <em>Dama di picche</em> e <em>Boris Godunov</em>.</p>
<p>Nei mesi di febbraio e marzo si concretizzerà il progetto di costruire “una via italiana” all’opera di repertorio, intrecciando quattro recenti spettacoli del Regio proposti con nuovi direttori e nuovi protagonisti.</p>
<p>Il primo titolo è <em>Il barbiere di Siviglia </em>(19-26/2) di Gioachino Rossini in una produzione tutta “made in Regio” con Alessandro Galoppini sul podio e la regia di Vittorio Borrelli. Il cast, oltre che eccellenza belcantistica, promette sicuro divertimento, annoverando Antonino Siragusa, Roberto de Candia, Paolo Bordogna, Marina Comparato e Nicola Ulivieri.</p>
<p>Seguirà, dal 21 al 28 febbraio, <em>Madama Butterfly </em>di Giacomo Puccini nell’allestimento di grande impatto firmato da Damiano Michieletto con le scene di Paolo Fantin e i costumi di Carla Teti, recenti vincitori del Premio Abbiati della critica italiana. L’interpretazione musicale è affidata al giovanissimo Daniele Rustioni, che proprio al Regio fece il suo debutto operistico prima che la sua carriera conoscesse apparizioni di assoluto rilievo nei maggiori teatri del mondo. Nel ruolo di Pinkerton e Butterfly ritornano Massimiliano Pisapia e Raffaella Angeletti.</p>
<p>Terzo, intramontabile, classico, l’altro capolavoro pucciniano: <em>La bohème </em>in scena a marzo (6-17) nella storica produzione ideata da Giuseppe Patroni Griffi con scene e costumi di Aldo Terlizzi Patroni Griffi, spettacolo applauditissimo nella recente tournée in Giappone. Protagonisti di questa edizione: Maria Agresta nel ruolo di Mimì e Massimiliano Pisapia in quello di Rodolfo. Sul podio Massimo Zanetti che torna al Regio dopo aver diretto Tosca nel 2003.</p>
<p>Dal 14 al 20 marzo sarà la volta di <em>Rigoletto </em>di Giuseppe Verdi diretto anch’esso da Daniele Rustioni che, nel giro di un mese, si confronterà con un altro caposaldo della grande tradizione operistica italiana. L’allestimento è quello del team che vinse il concorso <em>La Creatività all’Opera</em> formato da Fabio Banfo, Luca Ghirardosi e Valentina Caspani. Nuovi invece i protagonisti: Désirée Rancatore nelle vesti di Gilda, Giovanni Meoni e Piero Pretti rispettivamente Rigoletto e il duca di Mantova.</p>
<p>Con <em>Così fan tutte</em>, in scena ad aprile (10-22), si passa all’opera italiana secondo Mozart. Lo spettacolo è quello che porta la firma del regista Ettore Scola, dello scenografo Luciano Ricceri e della costumista Odette Nicoletti. Nel cast, alcune delle più belle voci del momento come Carmela Remigio, che torna al Regio per interpretare Fiordiligi dopo la splendida prova nella <em>Clemenza di Tito</em>, mentre l’amica Dorabella sarà Laura Polverelli; la parte maschile del quartetto sarà formata da Marco Nisticò ed Edgardo Rocha.</p>
<p>A maggio (16-30) torna dopo dieci anni <em>Norma </em>di Vincenzo Bellini nell’allestimento firmato da Alberto Fassini con le scene e i costumi di William Orlandi. Sul podio un altro giovane e già affermatissimo direttore: Michele Mariotti. Nel ruolo della protagonista Norma Fantini, completano il cast Marco Berti, Giacomo Prestia e Kate Aldrich.</p>
<p>Infine a giugno (19/6 &#8211; 1/7) verrà presentato <em>Un ballo in maschera </em>di Giuseppe Verdi con un grande cast internazionale formato da Gregory Kunde, recente protagonista de <em>I Vespri siciliani</em>, Gabriele Viviani, Oksana Dyka, Marianne Cornetti e Serena Gamberoni. Sul podio un direttore di grande esperienza nel repertorio verdiano come Renato Palumbo. Lo spettacolo, realizzato in coproduzione con il Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino e il Teatro Massimo Bellini di Catania, ha la regia di Lorenzo Mariani, le scene di Maurizio Balò e i costumi di Maurizio Millenotti.</p>
<p>L’<strong>Orchestra e il Coro del Teatro Regio</strong> saranno presenti in tutte le produzioni. Il maestro Claudio Fenoglio dirigerà il Coro e il Coro di voci bianche del Regio e del Conservatorio “G. Verdi”.</p>
<p>Anche quest’anno proseguirà la partnership con Rai-Radio3 per la trasmissione di tutte le opere in cartellone e la collaborazione con la Rai per la produzione di dvd.</p>
<p>Ognuno avrà quindi la possibilità di costruirsi un personale percorso all’interno della Stagione scegliendo tra le varie tipologie di abbonamento a 9, 6 e 4 spettacoli, oppure a 3 balletti o a 3 titoli pucciniani. Prosegue inoltre la formula di abbonamento <em>Armonie </em>pensata insieme al Teatro Stabile.</p>

<p>Il <strong>Gruppo Torinese Trasporti</strong>, con i propri lavoratori e la libera partecipazione di Enti e Cittadini, ha costituito l’Associazione Teatro <strong>“I Tranvieri e la Città”</strong> per diffondere i valori del trasporto pubblico, della mobilità sostenibile e contribuire alla diffusione dell’arte e della cultura, attraverso attività rivolte ai cittadini e a tutte le persone che operano in GTT.</p>

<p>Per raggiungere questo primario obiettivo, il principale strumento di cui l’Associazione dispone è un tram teatro realizzato su progetto di Luciano Filicetti. Si tratta di un tram della serie 3000 ristrutturato e trasformato in “palcoscenico su rotaia” e pertanto in grado di raggiungere i luoghi di lavoro, le strade e le piazze della Città.<br />
Il Tram Teatro ha esordito nel settembre 2007 con uno spettacolo dal titolo “Il ritorno a Torino dei signori Tornio”, da un’idea dello stesso Luciano Filicetti, scritto per l’occasione da <strong>Giuseppe Culicchia</strong> e con la regia di <strong>Mauro Avogadro</strong>; successivamente ha ospitato lo spettacolo <strong>“Storie di città”</strong> Di Esther Ruggiero e Bruno Gambarotta ed altre iniziative in collaborazione con il Teatro dei Ragazzi e nell’ambito delle manifestazioni cittadine.</p>
<p>Attualmente l’Associazione I Tranvieri e la Città sta lavorando affinché il Tram Teatro possa consolidare la propria vocazione nel tessuto artistico e sociale della Città di Torino portando alle persone iniziative culturali e ludiche di interesse per tutti.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.comune.candelo.bi.it" target="_blank"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-8196" title="Stemma_Comunale_Candelo_gimp" src="http://www.madeinitaly.tv/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Stemma_Comunale_Candelo_gimp.jpg" alt="" width="86" height="100" /></a>Nel 1577, il feudo di Candelo venne eretto in contea in favore di  Besso Ferrero Fieschi. Dal 1554 al 1558, Candelo fu ripetutamente  occupato da truppe francesi del Brissac. La <strong>peste</strong> fece più volte la sua comparsa in Candelo specie agli inizi ed alla  fine del Sec. XVI, ma ben più triste fu quella del 1630, &#8217;31 e &#8217;32.  L&#8217;esame dei registri di una sola parrocchia ci dà queste paurose  statistiche: 1630, su 63 decessi 26 di peste; 1631 su 111 morti 90 di  peste; 1632 su 15 decessi 3 di peste.<br />
Anche dopo i capovolgimenti  politici e le varie insurrezioni di Masserano che portarono i Ferrero  Fieschi a stabilirsi in Spagna, Candelo continuò ad essere feudo di  questa famiglia.</p>
<p>Il 6 luglio 1723, Candelo venne infeudato a  Vittorio Amedeo Fieschi; il 14 dicembre 1750 al Principe Filippo  Vittorio Amedeo Ferrero Fieschi; il 5 gennaio 1784, al Principe Carlo  Pasquale Ferro Fieschi.<br />
Anche a Candelo si fecero sentire i fermenti della <strong>Rivoluzione francese</strong>;  durante il periodo della dominazione napoleonica ha avvio l&#8217;iter, che  si concluderà nel 1819, del nuovo palazzo Comunale sugli spalti  diroccati e dopo l&#8217;abbattimento delle case prospicienti per creare la  piazza attuale. Col ritorno dei Savoia e la restaurazione, tornarono in  vigore i vecchi statuti comunali e ritornò la norma che impediva ai  forestieri di possedere beni immobili a Candelo, pena la confisca a  favore del regio erario. Nei moti del 1821 furono coinvolti anche dei  candelesi: il capitano Pio Moglia, condannato a cinque anni di carcere,  il capitano Giuseppe Viana, destituito e il sottotenente Luigi Serra,  destituito e poi riammesso.</p>
<p>Nel 1848, al primo parlamento subalpino, ritroviamo un candelese, l&#8217;ingeniere <strong>Giuseppe Pozzo</strong>;  nello stesso anno Candelo ospita le truppe piemontesi in rotta e dieci  anni più tardi sarà la volta degli Austriaci. Nello stesso anno  accoglierà le truppe del generale Garibaldi di passaggio a Biella.<br />
Durante  la I guerra mondiale pagherà un tributo di sangue elevato e, a perenne  ricordo, resta il monumento eretto nei pressi delle scuole elementari.  Numerosi candelesi combatterono per la libertà al tempo del Fascismo,  così come documenta la lapide in <strong>Piazza Castello</strong>.</p>

<p>Born in Sila, Calabria, in 1954, Vincenzo   Reda has lived in Turin since 1960. He works as a professional in the   publishing industry. He has had a long artistic experience, especially   in theatre (&#8217;74/&#8217;75), photography ( <strong>Rayogrammi e Pictures Lumieres</strong>, Turin, 1976; <strong>Il Diavolo ti vuole</strong>, with Bruno Chiarenza, Turin, 1980) and avant-guard cinema ( <strong>Ogni corpo occupa un suo spazio</strong>, with  Plinio Martelli, Venice, Biennale del Cinema d&#8217;Artista, 1976).<br />
He has painted on paper using wine only since 1993. He started   exhibiting his works in Capo Liveri ( Island of Elba) in 1998, convinced   by his friend Gino Veronelli. He has been invited to participate in   some major wine events in Italy and has shown his works in many national   cities.<br />
Permanent exhibitions are those at the restaurants <strong>La Taverna del Templare</strong> in Palazzuolo (AR) and <strong>Li Jalantuumene</strong> in Monte S. Angelo (FG).<br />
Some of his works are being shown in New York, South Africa, Brazil and Munich.<br />
He is also Gran Maestro dell&#8217;Ordine del PAMPINO.</p>
<p><strong>The wine chessboard</strong> is a double crystal square measuring 25.2 x   25.2 in (each square is 3.1 x 3.1 in). The board was made with two   different types of wine: <em>Doux d&#8217;Henry</em> from Pinerolo  and <em>Bombino Bianco</em> from Foggia (Bombino Bianco).  The 3 June 2006, the closing day of the   Chess Winter Olympics, a chess game was played with glasses of red and   white wine that are part of the chessboard. The wine had been provided   by Angelo Gaja, a friend of Reda&#8217;s. It was an extraordinary event   because the game was played by the best chess-players in the World.</p>
<p>&#8220;Wine was created by the Gods out of guilt for having given men such a   poor and miserable existence. The Gods tried to relieve humans&#8217;   suffering and daily strive to survive with a gift.<br />
Wine was made to be drunk.<br />
And I naturally drink wine.<br />
And sometimes &#8211; especially at night &#8211; after I have had a glass, I pour   some wine on some sheets I know well and wait for a miracle to happen &#8211;   because it is a miracle indeed.<br />
Wine is not a colour or a simple mixture of flavours and smells. Wine   is a story that started in the geological eras when rocks began to melt,   it continued with the evolution of the climate and the growth of a   delicate yet strong plant, and ended with the beginning of another story   &#8211; a new story populated with people.<br />
I am not an artist who paints with wine.<br />
I am not a painter.<br />
Who am I?<br />
Maybe Aldo Palazzeschi or Marcel Duchamp would have been able to answer that question.&#8221;</p>

<p><a href="http://www.museodelgusto.it"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-7314" title="fungo d_oro 2010" src="http://www.madeinitaly.tv/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/fungo-d_oro-2010-.jpg" alt="" width="130" height="204" /></a>La  manifestazione patrocinata dalla Regione Piemonte, con il sostegno  della Provincia di Torino  è giunta alla 14 ‘ edizione ed è prevista dal  15 settembre al 25 ottobre; anche quest’anno l’Accademia Italiana della  Cucina con il Museo del Gusto selezionerà ristoratori in varie Province  della regione Piemonte; il concorso risulta così allargato all’intera  regione.<br />
Numerosi Enti, Consorzi e Associazioni parteciperanno all’iniziativa e  tra questi la Camera di Commercio di Torino,  l’Azienda del Turismo  Torino e Provincia, le Comunità Montane delle Valli, la CNA Commercio  (che riserverà ai suoi aderenti la partecipazione al Fungo in tavola a  condizioni particolari), l’Eco del Chisone, il Rotary Club Pinerolo e la  Pro Loco di Pinerolo. All’Istituto Alberghiero “A. Prever” di Pinerolo e  al CFIQ Consorzio Formazione Innovazione e Qualità di Pinerolo il  compito dell’organizzazione tecnica delle serate di Giuria e premiazione  finale previste all’ARGAL di Frossasco<br />
La serata tecnica si svolgerà lunedì 4 ottobre all’ARGAL con giuria  tecnica composta da 7/9 membri di cui componenti dell’Accademia Italiana  della Cucina e Autorità e Giornalisti con la partecipazione dei  Formatori e degli Allievi del Consorzio CFIQ Pinerolo.<br />
La serata finale prevista per lunedì 11 ottobre all’Istituto Alberghiero  “A. Prever” di Pinerolo e che vedrà la partecipazione di circa 150  ospiti con almeno 50 posti previsti per il pubblico pagante, vedrà  premiato lo Chef vincitore del Fungo d’Oro e dei  quattro premiati con  il Fungo d’Argento. Nel corso della serata si degusterà il piatto  vincitore e le preparazioni degli Chef già vincitori nelle passate  edizioni del premio; in quest’occasione tutto il pubblico presente potrà  esprimere una votazione sui piatti degustati.</p>

La genialità unita alla fantasia, perizia applicata al fuoco creativo: non esiste una sola definizione per descrivere il lavoro di <strong>Enrico Cirio, maestro orafo</strong> che annovera tra i suoi estimatori Case Reali, personaggi noti e grandi collezionisti dal gusto infallibile, che la Biblioteca Reale di Torino ospita in anteprima internazionale dal 17 gennaio al 4 marzo 2007 con la mostra <strong>Nuvole di pietra</strong>, promossa dalla Provincia di Torino. Una sede prestigiosa per una mostra preziosa: la Biblioteca Reale infatti conserva alcuni dei più importanti disegni di Leonardo da Vinci, tra i quali l&#8217;&#8221;Autoritratto&#8221; ed il &#8220;Volto dell&#8217;Angelo&#8221;.<br />
Orafo, narratore, esteta, Enrico Cirio è soprattutto un traduttore: della sua primaria ispiratrice &#8211; la Natura ? egli decodifica e ricompone, in linguaggi nuovi e mai banali, le meraviglie, i misteri ed il piacere delle innumerevoli trasformazioni. Questo grande artista-artigiano lavora con maestria materiali preziosi in declinazioni insolite: le sue creazioni sono pezzi unici realizzati completamente a mano con un&#8217;arte laboratoriale che difficilmente trova paragoni. Cirio spinge infatti la sua sperimentazione sempre un po&#8217; più in là, attratto dal superamento del limite materiale e, come un architetto-costruttore, crea strutture perfette che rasentano l&#8217;equilibrismo. L&#8217;amore, l&#8217;attenzione e la passione con cui Cirio si avvicina alle sue preziose materie prime per trasformarle <strong>in oggetti unici e irripetibili rendono impalpabile la distanza tra il manufatto e l&#8217;opera d&#8217;arte</strong>. Ogni pezzo da lui creato è depositario di una storia, una leggenda, un piccolo aneddoto; è testimone di un pezzo di vita. Infatti sia le numerose frequentazioni artistiche che l&#8217;incontro con i più grandi architetti italiani e stranieri sono riflessi nei suoi gioielli, testimonianza di una vita ricca di stimoli e di passioni. Ma non è solo l&#8217;ambiente esterno ad influenzare le creazioni di Cirio, i suoi manufatti rispecchiano la personalità del loro creatore: sono <strong>opere fantasiose ma rigorose, preziose eppure discrete; interpretazioni del nostro tempo destinate a pochi ed ora, grazie alla Provincia di Torino, per la prima volta esposte al pubblico nella splendida cornice della Biblioteca Reale di Torino</strong>.</p>
<p>Il percorso della mostra si snoda attraverso 16 vetrine dove sono esposti gioielli dagli anni ‘50 ad oggi con i disegni originali ed i bozzetti preparatori, per una migliore fruizione e comprensione delle opere di Cirio.<br />
Per enfatizzare infine il connubio tra Arte e Artigianato, la Biblioteca Reale affiancherà alle opere ed ai disegni dell&#8217;orafo torinese una selezione di materiale librario a tema e legature di apparato delle proprie collezioni, accanto alle quali si potranno ammirare oggetti appartenenti alla Biblioteca, frutto di un lavoro artigianale di grande pregio che va dall&#8217;intarsio ai calchi di gemme, a cofanetti destinati a conservare materiale librario.<br />
Questa particolarissima esposizione si colloca all&#8217;interno di una progettualità più ampia attuata dalla Provincia di Torino al fine di evidenziare il grande retaggio e l&#8217;odierna professionalità di un settore tanto pregiato come quello dell&#8217;Alto Artigianato Artistico, parte di quelle preziose &#8220;eccellenze&#8221; del nostro territorio che vanno tutelate e valorizzate. Eccellenze che rappresentano infatti non solo una ricca e prestigiosa tradizione, ma anche la possibilità di conservare e tramandare un&#8217;arte raffinata che affianca capacità manuali ed artistiche e può costituire anche oggi, se ben valorizzata, un&#8217;ottima opportunità per un mercato di altissimo valore e di grande considerazione. Questo è il motivo per cui un personaggio tanto schivo e discreto come Enrico Cirio ha accettato di esporre le sue splendide creazioni al pubblico, un&#8217;occasione impedibile per ammirare gioielli che hanno fatto e fanno sognare reali, grandi industriali, star hollywoodiane, artisti ed intellettuali; ma soprattutto oggetti che hanno testimoniato e scritto la storia del <strong>gusto</strong>, del <strong>costume</strong> e del <strong>design italiano nel mondo</strong>. La mostra, voluta dalla Provincia di Torino è realizzata in collaborazione con il Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali attraverso la Biblioteca Reale di Torino e con il sostegno della Fondazione CRT.<br />

The territory is wide and   differentiated: mountains (<strong>the Alps</strong>), hills (<strong>Langhe</strong>, <strong>Roero</strong>,   <strong>Canavese</strong>), flat land (<strong>Val Padana)</strong>. The Alps are massive,   rocky and covered in snow: on those sparkling peaks, we know, &#8220;leaps  the  chamois and thunders the avalanche&#8221; (Carducci). The scenery of the   hills of <strong>Langhe </strong>and <strong>Monferrato </strong>is<strong> </strong>gently   melancholic, with its fog, truffles and vinic rarities.</p>
<p>Early populated in the Neolithic Age, later occupied by Celts and   Ligures, and eventually colonized by Rome (200 B.C.), Piedmont saw &#8211;   through turbulent centuries and their alternating vicissitudes &#8211;   irruptions and rules by various ethnic groups: Burgundians, Gothes,   Byzantines, Longobards, Francs. As well as lordship battles, among   Viscounts, Hapsburgs and Valois. Eventually, between 17th and 18th   century, it started to unite under the lead of <strong>Savoy</strong>. The process   came to an end in the 19th century, by the <strong>Risorgimento </strong>and the   Union of Italy.</p>
<p>Nowadays the region, past a dropping cycle, is back on the run with   businesses and initiatives.</p>
<p><strong>Agriculture </strong>includes cereals, vegetables as well as   grapevines, along with a flourishing <strong>oenogastronomy</strong>. Prospering   and active as always the <strong>zootechnics</strong>. An excellent production of <strong>chocolate</strong>,   with its everlasting <strong>Gianduiotto. </strong>The output of the <strong>mechanical</strong> sector (plastics, paints, tyres), once concentrated in the chief town,   has later been throughout decentralized. A brisk <strong>financial and   banking</strong> sector (assurance and credit companies), and a busy <strong>tourism</strong>.</p>
<p>A remarkable output of wool and textiles in <strong>Biella</strong>, <strong>Novara</strong> e <strong>Vercelli, </strong>a city that holds the European primacy for rice. <strong>Cuneo</strong>,   founded in 1198, is a city with a strong patriotic tradition, with its   magnificent town centre. Obviously geographic position and means of   communication shape trades and activities of the various towns.   Therefore <strong>Novara</strong> is a satellite of Milan and Lombardy, whereas <strong>Asti</strong> can be considered inside the area of Turin, whilst <strong>Alessandria</strong> (birth place of <strong>Umberto Eco</strong>), risen again after the terrible   floods of the 90&#8242;s, is affected by the region Liguria.</p>
<p><strong>Torino</strong>, or else Augusta Julia Taurinorum of Romans, kept the   square and straightforward plant of the &#8220;Castrum&#8221;, that is the military   camp. With its 900,000 inhabitants it is the third Italian city, after   Milan and Rome, as for productivity and wealth. Though it was the   Capital city during the <strong>Risorgimento, </strong>with liberal agitations and   patriotic pushes: here in 1848 Carlo Alberto issued the Statute, and  in  those years Piedmont under the <strong>Savoy</strong> and <strong>Cavour</strong> did  put  Italy together.</p>
<p>Turin is a multi-faced city. Sober and weighted in the literary   fascination of the 19th century, with ist long avenues covered in trees,   monuments, museums and old pastries. Here, in the early nine hundred,   were born Eiar and movie industry. The cultured, dignified and  bourgeois  birth place of <strong>Gozzano</strong>, <strong>Pavese</strong>, <strong>Primo Levi</strong>,<strong> Arpino</strong>, <strong>Calvino</strong>. Vivid as always the cultural tradition of   the city and region, thanks to its politic and philosophic   intellectuals, with liberal (<strong>Giolitti</strong>, <strong>Gobetti</strong>, <strong>Einaudi</strong>)   and socialist (<strong>Gramsci</strong>, <strong>Bobbio</strong>) members.</p>
<p>On the other hand Turin is an industrial and technological pole,   leading actor of the national economic boom in the sixties, it attracted   manpower from the south and brought out runabouts for the Italians.   Nowadays, after the <strong>2006 Olympic Games</strong>, it&#8217;s coming out as a   dazzling and metropolitan city, dusting away its industrial past in   order to praise a mighty touristic-cosmopolitan calling. A workshop for   innovative solutions: with an advanced and refined <strong>electronic and   aerospace industry</strong>, the brand new underground, the original <strong>Museum   of the Cinema </strong>which is brilliantly set up inside Antonelli&#8217;s <strong>Mole.</strong> And <strong>Fiat</strong> itself, after years of economic depression, is back on   the run over the world market with new cars and enviable financial   plans.</p>
<p>At last, the usual and beloved paramount institutions: the <strong>Lingotto</strong> (periodically hosting <strong>Artissima</strong>, the <strong>Salone</strong> <strong>del Libro </strong>and   <strong>Salone</strong> <strong>del Gusto</strong>), the <strong>Egyptian Museum</strong>, the <strong>Museum   of the</strong> <strong>Risorgimento</strong> and of the <strong>Automobile</strong>, the <strong>Teatro   Regio</strong> and <strong>Teatro Carignano</strong>, as well as <strong>Palazzo Reale</strong>,   with many more monuments and magnificent Savoy residences.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2><strong>The Natural Park of the Veglia and Devero Alps</strong></h2>
<p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.parcovegliadevero.it/" target="_blank"><img class="alignleft" title="logo_parco_veglia_devero" src="http://www.madeinitaly.tv/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/logo_parco_veglia_devero.jpg" alt="logo_parco_veglia_devero" width="100" height="123" /></a>The Parco  Naturale of the Veglia and Devero Alps was established in 1995 with a  “guardianship” of 11,000 hectares of typical alpine environment between  1600 and 3552 metres of altitude from Mount Leone. This kind of  environment reproduces the locality of the Devero Alps at the limit of  the larch wood, which is a typical pheasant mountain habitat. The  different seasonal stages stand particularly out: from left to right we  pass from the icy winter to the hot summer.At 2000 m of altitude the  climate is very rigid and the soil is covered with snow for more than  200 days a year. In Fall, most birds migrate towards a milder climate  but some species stay and are able to resist the harsh winter climate.  The mountain pheasant is among those birds. The nostrils and claws of  the mountain pheasant are covered with feathers and a thick layer of  thermal plumage that protects him from the cold. Its toes are sideways  spread by means of epidermic scales, which allow it to waddle on the  fresh snow without sinking. The diet of the mountain pheasant consists  of blueberries, rhododendrons, larch and juniper wood easy to find even  in the winter. In order to save its energies and to hide from predators  the mountain pheasant spends most of its winter days in holes dug out in  the snow. The temperature in this “igloo” stays always at a constant 0  degrees while outside it can sink up to -25 degrees.<br />
This species is characterized by spectacular “wedding parades” that take  place in spring, between April and June, in the so-called chanting  arenas or “leks” where several males fight against each other every  morning for their females.<br />
When moving to the right we can see in the diorama a missal thrush and a  finch, who a re trying to nourish themselves with and gentians and  spring anemones sprouting where the snow has melted. Between the twigs  of the rhododendron that hides the nest of the mountain pheasant there  are a citril finch and a sparrow. Further on a rock, we find a wren and  on a larch trunk an alpine tree-creeper in search of insects. Between  summer flowers and blueberries there is a pheasant family composed of a  female pheasant and three chicks, we also find different kinds of  butterflies, including a beautiful white Phoebus Parnassian with its  characteristic red spots. On the lower right of the trunk we find a  viviparous lizard.<br />
The larch is the only conifer to make up the purest woods in the park.  Between an altitude of 2000 and 2200 a moor of rhododendrons and  blueberries replaces the last larches.<br />
In order to make it through the winter at this quote, the plants adopt  different strategies: the soil is hardened by ice and the larch looses  its needles through respiration in order not to loose its water; the  rhododendron, ever-green, always stays covered underneath the snow, the  alpine azalea, the silene acaulis and the stone-breaks make up compact  pillows, which create an inner micro-environment that is much more  livable than the outside one.</p>
<h2>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero</h2>
<p>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero a été constitué en 1995;  il sauvegarde 11.000 hectares d’environnements typiquement alpins, entre  le 1600 et 3552 mètres de la cime du Mont Leone.<br />
Cet environnement reproduit une localité de l’Alpe Devero à la limite  supérieure du bois de mélèze, l’endroit particulier du faisan de  montagne.<br />
Comme nous le remarquons tout de suite, le diorama représente des  moments différents des saisons; de gauche à droite nous passons du plein  hiver à l’été déjà avancé.<br />
Dans cet endroit, à 2000 mètres d’altitude, le climat est très rigoureux  et le sol reste couvert de neige pendant plus de 200 jours par an. La  plus grande partie des oiseaux, à l’arrivée de la mauvaise saison, ils  abandonnent le Parc pour des zones au climat plus doux, mais il y a  quelques espèces parfaitement en mesure de résister aux rigueurs du  climat d’hiver. Le faisan de montagne est une de celles-ci.<br />
Les narines et les pattes du faisan de montagne sont couvertes de plumes  et d’une grande couche de plumeaux qui l’isolent du froid. Les doigts  sont plus longs avec des écailles épidermiques latérales qui lui  empêchent de s’effondrer dans la neige fraîche.<br />
Le faisan de montagne se nourrit de baies de myrtilles, de rhododendron,  de mélèze et de genièvres, qu&#8217;il trouve facilement même dans le paysage  complètement enneigé.<br />
Une bonne partie des journées d’hiver, il les passe dans des trous,  creusés dans la neige poudreuse, cela pour épargner ses énergies et pour  se cacher des oiseaux de proie. Comme dans un “igloo”, dans ces refuges  la température est d’environ zéro degrés, tandis qu’au dehors, elle  peut descendre aussi à moins 25.<br />
Les caractéristiques de ces espèces sont les magnifiques parades de noce  qui se déroulent au printemps, entre les mois d’avril et de juin, dans  les surfaces de chant, les “leks”, où, chaque matin, de nombreux mâles  combattent entre eux pour les femelles.<br />
Nous nous déplaçons vers la droite, dans le diorama nous voyons une  grive et un pinson des arbres qui cherchent la nourriture à la limite de  la neige qui est en train de fondre, où poussent des gentianes et des  anémones de printemps. Entre les branches du rhododendron qui abrite le  nid du faisan de montagne, il y a un venturon montagnard et un accenteur  mouchet. Plus loin, sur le rocher, un moineau et sur le tronc du mélèze  un grimpereau alpestre à la recherche d’insectes. Entre les fleurs  d’été et les myrtilles, il y a une famille qui picore, elle est composée  d’une femelle de faisan de montagne et trois petits, de différents  papillons parmi lesquels sur le rhododendron, une jolie petit Apollon  Parnassius phoebus blanche avec les caractéristiques taches rouges. En  bas à droite, à la base du tronc, un lézard vivipare.<br />
Le mélèze est le seul conifère qui constitue les bois purs dans le parc.  Entre les 2000 et les 2002 mètres les derniers minces mélèzes laissent  la place à une bruyère de rhododendrons et de myrtilles.<br />
Pour franchir l’hiver à ces altitudes, les plantes adoptent des  stratagèmes différents: le terrain est aride pour le gel et le mélèze  pour ne pas disperser l’eau à travers la transpiration, il perd ses  aiguilles; le rhododendron, toujours vert, il reste enseveli sous la  neige: l’azalée alpine, le silène acaule et les saxifrages forment des  coussinets compacts qui créent à leur intérieur son micro-endroit, plus  favorable par rapport à celui qui l’entourent</p>
<h2>Naturpark im Alpengebiet Veglia und Devero</h2>
<p>Der, im Jahre 1995 gegründete Naturpark im Alpengebiet Veglia und  Devero umfaßt 11.000 Hektar typisches Alpenmilieu, in einer Höhenlage  zwischen 1600 und 3552 Metern vom Gipfel des Monte Leone.<br />
Diese Akklimatisation erzeugt oberhalb der Grenzen vom Lärchenwald der  Devero-Alpen Umweltbedingungen, die ein typisches Habitat für das  Birkhuhn begründen.<br />
Wie man sofort bemerkt, weist das Landschaftsbild unterschiedliche  Jahreszeiterscheinungen auf: von links nach rechts wechselt man vom  tiefsten Winter in den Spätsommer über.<br />
In dieser Umgebung, auf einer Quote von 2000 Metern, herrscht ein sehr  hartes Klima und der Boden bleibt für mehr als 200 Tage im Jahr  schneebedeckt. Der überwiegende Teil der Vogelwelt verläßt den Naturpark  bei Einbruch der schlechten Jahreszeit, um sich in milderen  Klimabereichen aufzuhalten, aber es gibt einige Arten, die perfekt in  der Lage sind der Rauheit des winterlichen Klimas standzuhalten. Zu  einer dieser Arten gehört das Birkhuhn.<br />
Die Nüster und Füße des Birkhuhns sind mit Federn bedeckt und eine  dichte Schicht von Flaumfedern schützt es vor der Kälte. Die Zehen sind  durch seitliche Epidermalschuppen verbreitert, um zu verhindern, das es  im frischen Schnee versinkt.<br />
Das Birkhuhn ernährt sich von Heidelbeerknospen, Rhododendron, Lärchen  und Wacholder, leicht auffindbar auch in einer gänzlich schneebedeckten  Landschaft.<br />
Um Energie zu sparen und um sich vor Raubtieren zu verstecken verbringt  das Birkhuhn den überwiegenden Teil der Wintertage in, im Pulverschnee  gescharrten Gruben. Wie in einem „Iglu“ beträgt die Temperatur in diesen  Zufluchtsorten konstant um Null Grad, während die Außentemperatur auch  auf minus 25°C sinken kann.<br />
Ein Merkmal dieser Vogelart sind die eindrucksvollen Brunftparaden, die  im Frühjahr zwischen April und Juni stattfinden, in den sogenannten  Gesangsarenen oder „Leks“, in denen jeden Morgen zahlreiche Männchen  untereinander um ihre Weibchen kämpfen.<br />
Wenn wir uns weiter in östliche Richtung begeben, können wir in der  Landschaft eine Misteldrossel und einen Bergfinken betrachten, die sich  ihr Essen am Grenzbereich des sich schmelzenden Schnees suchen, im dem  frühjährlicher Enzian und Anemonen sprießen. Zwischen den  Rhododendronzweigen, die das Nest des Birkhuhns schützen halten sich ein  Zitronengirlitz und eine Heckenbraunelle auf. Etwas weiter entfernt,  auf einen Felsen, ein Zaunkönig und auf einem Lärchenbaumstumpf ein  Waldbaumläufer, auf der Suche nach Insekten. Zwischen den Sommerblumen  und den Heidelbeeren, wo ein Birkhuhnweibchen mit drei Jungtieren  scharrt, befinden sich die unterschiedlichsten Schmetterlinge, darunter,  auf einem Rhododendrenstrauch ein bildschönes Exemplar von einem  Alpenapollo (Parnassius phoebus), weiß mit den charakteristischen roten  Flecken. Rechts unten, an der Stammwurzel, eine Waldeidechse.<br />
Die Lärche ist der einzige Nadelbaum, der einen Reinbestand begründet.  Auf einer Höhe zwischen 2000 und 2200 Metern machen die letzten hageren  Lärchen einem Heideland aus Rhododendron und Heidelbeeren Platz.<br />

Its toes are sideways   spread by means of epidermic scales, which allow it to waddle on the   fresh snow without sinking. The diet of the mountain pheasant consists   of blueberries, rhododendrons, larch and juniper wood easy to find even   in the winter. In order to save its energies and to hide from predators   the mountain pheasant spends most of its winter days in holes dug out  in  the snow. The temperature in this “igloo” stays always at a constant  0  degrees while outside it can sink up to -25 degrees.<br />
This species is characterized by spectacular “wedding parades” that take   place in spring, between April and June, in the so-called chanting   arenas or “leks” where several males fight against each other every   morning for their females.<br />
When moving to the right we can see in the diorama a missal thrush and a   finch, who a re trying to nourish themselves with and gentians and   spring anemones sprouting where the snow has melted. Between the twigs   of the rhododendron that hides the nest of the mountain pheasant there   are a citril finch and a sparrow. Further on a rock, we find a wren and   on a larch trunk an alpine tree-creeper in search of insects. Between   summer flowers and blueberries there is a pheasant family composed of a   female pheasant and three chicks, we also find different kinds of   butterflies, including a beautiful white Phoebus Parnassian with its   characteristic red spots. On the lower right of the trunk we find a   viviparous lizard.<br />
The larch is the only conifer to make up the purest woods in the park.   Between an altitude of 2000 and 2200 a moor of rhododendrons and   blueberries replaces the last larches.<br />
In order to make it through the winter at this quote, the plants adopt   different strategies: the soil is hardened by ice and the larch looses   its needles through respiration in order not to loose its water; the   rhododendron, ever-green, always stays covered underneath the snow, the   alpine azalea, the silene acaulis and the stone-breaks make up compact   pillows, which create an inner micro-environment that is much more   livable than the outside one.</p>
<h1>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero</h1>
<p>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero a été constitué en 1995;   il sauvegarde 11.000 hectares d’environnements typiquement alpins, entre   le 1600 et 3552 mètres de la cime du Mont Leone.<br />
Cet environnement reproduit une localité de l’Alpe Devero à la limite   supérieure du bois de mélèze, l’endroit particulier du faisan de   montagne.<br />
Comme nous le remarquons tout de suite, le diorama représente des   moments différents des saisons; de gauche à droite nous passons du plein   hiver à l’été déjà avancé.<br />
Dans cet endroit, à 2000 mètres d’altitude, le climat est très rigoureux   et le sol reste couvert de neige pendant plus de 200 jours par an. La   plus grande partie des oiseaux, à l’arrivée de la mauvaise saison, ils   abandonnent le Parc pour des zones au climat plus doux, mais il y a   quelques espèces parfaitement en mesure de résister aux rigueurs du   climat d’hiver. Le faisan de montagne est une de celles-ci.<br />
Les narines et les pattes du faisan de montagne sont couvertes de plumes   et d’une grande couche de plumeaux qui l’isolent du froid. Les doigts   sont plus longs avec des écailles épidermiques latérales qui lui   empêchent de s’effondrer dans la neige fraîche.<br />
Le faisan de montagne se nourrit de baies de myrtilles, de rhododendron,   de mélèze et de genièvres, qu&#8217;il trouve facilement même dans le  paysage  complètement enneigé.<br />
Une bonne partie des journées d’hiver, il les passe dans des trous,   creusés dans la neige poudreuse, cela pour épargner ses énergies et pour   se cacher des oiseaux de proie. Comme dans un “igloo”, dans ces  refuges  la température est d’environ zéro degrés, tandis qu’au dehors,  elle  peut descendre aussi à moins 25.<br />
Les caractéristiques de ces espèces sont les magnifiques parades de noce   qui se déroulent au printemps, entre les mois d’avril et de juin, dans   les surfaces de chant, les “leks”, où, chaque matin, de nombreux mâles   combattent entre eux pour les femelles.<br />
Nous nous déplaçons vers la droite, dans le diorama nous voyons une   grive et un pinson des arbres qui cherchent la nourriture à la limite de   la neige qui est en train de fondre, où poussent des gentianes et des   anémones de printemps. Entre les branches du rhododendron qui abrite le   nid du faisan de montagne, il y a un venturon montagnard et un  accenteur  mouchet. Plus loin, sur le rocher, un moineau et sur le tronc  du mélèze  un grimpereau alpestre à la recherche d’insectes. Entre les  fleurs  d’été et les myrtilles, il y a une famille qui picore, elle est  composée  d’une femelle de faisan de montagne et trois petits, de  différents  papillons parmi lesquels sur le rhododendron, une jolie  petit Apollon  Parnassius phoebus blanche avec les caractéristiques  taches rouges. En  bas à droite, à la base du tronc, un lézard vivipare.<br />
Le mélèze est le seul conifère qui constitue les bois purs dans le parc.   Entre les 2000 et les 2002 mètres les derniers minces mélèzes laissent   la place à une bruyère de rhododendrons et de myrtilles.<br />
Pour franchir l’hiver à ces altitudes, les plantes adoptent des   stratagèmes différents: le terrain est aride pour le gel et le mélèze   pour ne pas disperser l’eau à travers la transpiration, il perd ses   aiguilles; le rhododendron, toujours vert, il reste enseveli sous la   neige: l’azalée alpine, le silène acaule et les saxifrages forment des   coussinets compacts qui créent à leur intérieur son micro-endroit, plus   favorable par rapport à celui qui l’entourent</p>

Diese Akklimatisation erzeugt oberhalb der Grenzen vom Lärchenwald der  Devero-Alpen Umweltbedingungen, die ein typisches Habitat für das  Birkhuhn begründen.<br />
Wie man sofort bemerkt, weist das Landschaftsbild unterschiedliche  Jahreszeiterscheinungen auf: von links nach rechts wechselt man vom  tiefsten Winter in den Spätsommer über.<br />
In dieser Umgebung, auf einer Quote von 2000 Metern, herrscht ein sehr  hartes Klima und der Boden bleibt für mehr als 200 Tage im Jahr  schneebedeckt. Der überwiegende Teil der Vogelwelt verläßt den Naturpark  bei Einbruch der schlechten Jahreszeit, um sich in milderen  Klimabereichen aufzuhalten, aber es gibt einige Arten, die perfekt in  der Lage sind der Rauheit des winterlichen Klimas standzuhalten. Zu  einer dieser Arten gehört das Birkhuhn.<br />
Die Nüster und Füße des Birkhuhns sind mit Federn bedeckt und eine  dichte Schicht von Flaumfedern schützt es vor der Kälte. Die Zehen sind  durch seitliche Epidermalschuppen verbreitert, um zu verhindern, das es  im frischen Schnee versinkt.<br />
Das Birkhuhn ernährt sich von Heidelbeerknospen, Rhododendron, Lärchen  und Wacholder, leicht auffindbar auch in einer gänzlich schneebedeckten  Landschaft.<br />
Um Energie zu sparen und um sich vor Raubtieren zu verstecken verbringt  das Birkhuhn den überwiegenden Teil der Wintertage in, im Pulverschnee  gescharrten Gruben. Wie in einem „Iglu“ beträgt die Temperatur in diesen  Zufluchtsorten konstant um Null Grad, während die Außentemperatur auch  auf minus 25°C sinken kann.<br />
Ein Merkmal dieser Vogelart sind die eindrucksvollen Brunftparaden, die  im Frühjahr zwischen April und Juni stattfinden, in den sogenannten  Gesangsarenen oder „Leks“, in denen jeden Morgen zahlreiche Männchen  untereinander um ihre Weibchen kämpfen.<br />
Wenn wir uns weiter in östliche Richtung begeben, können wir in der  Landschaft eine Misteldrossel und einen Bergfinken betrachten, die sich  ihr Essen am Grenzbereich des sich schmelzenden Schnees suchen, im dem  frühjährlicher Enzian und Anemonen sprießen. Zwischen den  Rhododendronzweigen, die das Nest des Birkhuhns schützen halten sich ein  Zitronengirlitz und eine Heckenbraunelle auf. Etwas weiter entfernt,  auf einen Felsen, ein Zaunkönig und auf einem Lärchenbaumstumpf ein  Waldbaumläufer, auf der Suche nach Insekten. Zwischen den Sommerblumen  und den Heidelbeeren, wo ein Birkhuhnweibchen mit drei Jungtieren  scharrt, befinden sich die unterschiedlichsten Schmetterlinge, darunter,  auf einem Rhododendrenstrauch ein bildschönes Exemplar von einem  Alpenapollo (Parnassius phoebus), weiß mit den charakteristischen roten  Flecken. Rechts unten, an der Stammwurzel, eine Waldeidechse.<br />
Die Lärche ist der einzige Nadelbaum, der einen Reinbestand begründet.  Auf einer Höhe zwischen 2000 und 2200 Metern machen die letzten hageren  Lärchen einem Heideland aus Rhododendron und Heidelbeeren Platz.<br />
Um den Winter auf diesen Quoten zu überstehen, bedienen sich die  Pflanzen unterschiedlicher Listen: der Boden ist auf Grund des Eises  unfruchtbar, und damit die Lärche mittels der Transpiration kein Wasser  verliert wirft sie ihre Nadeln ab; der immergrüne Rhododendron bleibt  unter dem Schnee vergraben; die Alpenazalee, die silene acaulis  (stengelloses Leimkraut) und der Steinbrech bilden kompakte Polster, in  denen sie ihre eigene Mikroumgebung erzeugen, die hinsichtlich der  wahren Umgebung wesentlich günstiger ist.</p>

The  different seasonal stages stand particularly out: from left to right we  pass from the icy winter to the hot summer.At 2000 m of altitude the  climate is very rigid and the soil is covered with snow for more than  200 days a year. In Fall, most birds migrate towards a milder climate  but some species stay and are able to resist the harsh winter climate.  The mountain pheasant is among those birds. The nostrils and claws of  the mountain pheasant are covered with feathers and a thick layer of  thermal plumage that protects him from the cold. Its toes are sideways  spread by means of epidermic scales, which allow it to waddle on the  fresh snow without sinking. The diet of the mountain pheasant consists  of blueberries, rhododendrons, larch and juniper wood easy to find even  in the winter. In order to save its energies and to hide from predators  the mountain pheasant spends most of its winter days in holes dug out in  the snow. The temperature in this “igloo” stays always at a constant 0  degrees while outside it can sink up to -25 degrees.<br />
This species is characterized by spectacular “wedding parades” that take  place in spring, between April and June, in the so-called chanting  arenas or “leks” where several males fight against each other every  morning for their females.<br />
When moving to the right we can see in the diorama a missal thrush and a  finch, who a re trying to nourish themselves with and gentians and  spring anemones sprouting where the snow has melted. Between the twigs  of the rhododendron that hides the nest of the mountain pheasant there  are a citril finch and a sparrow. Further on a rock, we find a wren and  on a larch trunk an alpine tree-creeper in search of insects. Between  summer flowers and blueberries there is a pheasant family composed of a  female pheasant and three chicks, we also find different kinds of  butterflies, including a beautiful white Phoebus Parnassian with its  characteristic red spots. On the lower right of the trunk we find a  viviparous lizard.<br />
The larch is the only conifer to make up the purest woods in the park.  Between an altitude of 2000 and 2200 a moor of rhododendrons and  blueberries replaces the last larches.<br />
In order to make it through the winter at this quote, the plants adopt  different strategies: the soil is hardened by ice and the larch looses  its needles through respiration in order not to loose its water; the  rhododendron, ever-green, always stays covered underneath the snow, the  alpine azalea, the silene acaulis and the stone-breaks make up compact  pillows, which create an inner micro-environment that is much more  livable than the outside one.</p>
<h1>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero</h1>
<p>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero a été constitué en 1995;  il sauvegarde 11.000 hectares d’environnements typiquement alpins, entre  le 1600 et 3552 mètres de la cime du Mont Leone.<br />
Cet environnement reproduit une localité de l’Alpe Devero à la limite  supérieure du bois de mélèze, l’endroit particulier du faisan de  montagne.<br />
Comme nous le remarquons tout de suite, le diorama représente des  moments différents des saisons; de gauche à droite nous passons du plein  hiver à l’été déjà avancé.<br />
Dans cet endroit, à 2000 mètres d’altitude, le climat est très rigoureux  et le sol reste couvert de neige pendant plus de 200 jours par an. La  plus grande partie des oiseaux, à l’arrivée de la mauvaise saison, ils  abandonnent le Parc pour des zones au climat plus doux, mais il y a  quelques espèces parfaitement en mesure de résister aux rigueurs du  climat d’hiver. Le faisan de montagne est une de celles-ci.<br />
Les narines et les pattes du faisan de montagne sont couvertes de plumes  et d’une grande couche de plumeaux qui l’isolent du froid. Les doigts  sont plus longs avec des écailles épidermiques latérales qui lui  empêchent de s’effondrer dans la neige fraîche.<br />
Le faisan de montagne se nourrit de baies de myrtilles, de rhododendron,  de mélèze et de genièvres, qu&#8217;il trouve facilement même dans le paysage  complètement enneigé.<br />
Une bonne partie des journées d’hiver, il les passe dans des trous,  creusés dans la neige poudreuse, cela pour épargner ses énergies et pour  se cacher des oiseaux de proie. Comme dans un “igloo”, dans ces refuges  la température est d’environ zéro degrés, tandis qu’au dehors, elle  peut descendre aussi à moins 25.<br />
Les caractéristiques de ces espèces sont les magnifiques parades de noce  qui se déroulent au printemps, entre les mois d’avril et de juin, dans  les surfaces de chant, les “leks”, où, chaque matin, de nombreux mâles  combattent entre eux pour les femelles.<br />
Nous nous déplaçons vers la droite, dans le diorama nous voyons une  grive et un pinson des arbres qui cherchent la nourriture à la limite de  la neige qui est en train de fondre, où poussent des gentianes et des  anémones de printemps. Entre les branches du rhododendron qui abrite le  nid du faisan de montagne, il y a un venturon montagnard et un accenteur  mouchet. Plus loin, sur le rocher, un moineau et sur le tronc du mélèze  un grimpereau alpestre à la recherche d’insectes. Entre les fleurs  d’été et les myrtilles, il y a une famille qui picore, elle est composée  d’une femelle de faisan de montagne et trois petits, de différents  papillons parmi lesquels sur le rhododendron, une jolie petit Apollon  Parnassius phoebus blanche avec les caractéristiques taches rouges. En  bas à droite, à la base du tronc, un lézard vivipare.<br />
Le mélèze est le seul conifère qui constitue les bois purs dans le parc.  Entre les 2000 et les 2002 mètres les derniers minces mélèzes laissent  la place à une bruyère de rhododendrons et de myrtilles.<br />
Pour franchir l’hiver à ces altitudes, les plantes adoptent des  stratagèmes différents: le terrain est aride pour le gel et le mélèze  pour ne pas disperser l’eau à travers la transpiration, il perd ses  aiguilles; le rhododendron, toujours vert, il reste enseveli sous la  neige: l’azalée alpine, le silène acaule et les saxifrages forment des  coussinets compacts qui créent à leur intérieur son micro-endroit, plus  favorable par rapport à celui qui l’entourent</p>

<p>Der, im Jahre 1995 gegründete Naturpark im Alpengebiet Veglia und  Devero umfaßt 11.000 Hektar typisches Alpenmilieu, in einer Höhenlage  zwischen 1600 und 3552 Metern vom Gipfel des Monte Leone.<br />
Diese Akklimatisation erzeugt oberhalb der Grenzen vom Lärchenwald der  Devero-Alpen Umweltbedingungen, die ein typisches Habitat für das  Birkhuhn begründen.<br />
Wie man sofort bemerkt, weist das Landschaftsbild unterschiedliche  Jahreszeiterscheinungen auf: von links nach rechts wechselt man vom  tiefsten Winter in den Spätsommer über.<br />
In dieser Umgebung, auf einer Quote von 2000 Metern, herrscht ein sehr  hartes Klima und der Boden bleibt für mehr als 200 Tage im Jahr  schneebedeckt. Der überwiegende Teil der Vogelwelt verläßt den Naturpark  bei Einbruch der schlechten Jahreszeit, um sich in milderen  Klimabereichen aufzuhalten, aber es gibt einige Arten, die perfekt in  der Lage sind der Rauheit des winterlichen Klimas standzuhalten. Zu  einer dieser Arten gehört das Birkhuhn.<br />
Die Nüster und Füße des Birkhuhns sind mit Federn bedeckt und eine  dichte Schicht von Flaumfedern schützt es vor der Kälte. Die Zehen sind  durch seitliche Epidermalschuppen verbreitert, um zu verhindern, das es  im frischen Schnee versinkt.<br />
Das Birkhuhn ernährt sich von Heidelbeerknospen, Rhododendron, Lärchen  und Wacholder, leicht auffindbar auch in einer gänzlich schneebedeckten  Landschaft.<br />
Um Energie zu sparen und um sich vor Raubtieren zu verstecken verbringt  das Birkhuhn den überwiegenden Teil der Wintertage in, im Pulverschnee  gescharrten Gruben. Wie in einem „Iglu“ beträgt die Temperatur in diesen  Zufluchtsorten konstant um Null Grad, während die Außentemperatur auch  auf minus 25°C sinken kann.<br />
Ein Merkmal dieser Vogelart sind die eindrucksvollen Brunftparaden, die  im Frühjahr zwischen April und Juni stattfinden, in den sogenannten  Gesangsarenen oder „Leks“, in denen jeden Morgen zahlreiche Männchen  untereinander um ihre Weibchen kämpfen.<br />
Wenn wir uns weiter in östliche Richtung begeben, können wir in der  Landschaft eine Misteldrossel und einen Bergfinken betrachten, die sich  ihr Essen am Grenzbereich des sich schmelzenden Schnees suchen, im dem  frühjährlicher Enzian und Anemonen sprießen. Zwischen den  Rhododendronzweigen, die das Nest des Birkhuhns schützen halten sich ein  Zitronengirlitz und eine Heckenbraunelle auf. Etwas weiter entfernt,  auf einen Felsen, ein Zaunkönig und auf einem Lärchenbaumstumpf ein  Waldbaumläufer, auf der Suche nach Insekten. Zwischen den Sommerblumen  und den Heidelbeeren, wo ein Birkhuhnweibchen mit drei Jungtieren  scharrt, befinden sich die unterschiedlichsten Schmetterlinge, darunter,  auf einem Rhododendrenstrauch ein bildschönes Exemplar von einem  Alpenapollo (Parnassius phoebus), weiß mit den charakteristischen roten  Flecken. Rechts unten, an der Stammwurzel, eine Waldeidechse.<br />
Die Lärche ist der einzige Nadelbaum, der einen Reinbestand begründet.  Auf einer Höhe zwischen 2000 und 2200 Metern machen die letzten hageren  Lärchen einem Heideland aus Rhododendron und Heidelbeeren Platz.<br />
Um den Winter auf diesen Quoten zu überstehen, bedienen sich die  Pflanzen unterschiedlicher Listen: der Boden ist auf Grund des Eises  unfruchtbar, und damit die Lärche mittels der Transpiration kein Wasser  verliert wirft sie ihre Nadeln ab; der immergrüne Rhododendron bleibt  unter dem Schnee vergraben; die Alpenazalee, die silene acaulis  (stengelloses Leimkraut) und der Steinbrech bilden kompakte Polster, in  denen sie ihre eigene Mikroumgebung erzeugen, die hinsichtlich der  wahren Umgebung wesentlich günstiger ist.</p>

The  different seasonal stages stand particularly out: from left to right we  pass from the icy winter to the hot summer.At 2000 m of altitude the  climate is very rigid and the soil is covered with snow for more than  200 days a year. In Fall, most birds migrate towards a milder climate  but some species stay and are able to resist the harsh winter climate.  The mountain pheasant is among those birds. The nostrils and claws of  the mountain pheasant are covered with feathers and a thick layer of  thermal plumage that protects him from the cold. Its toes are sideways  spread by means of epidermic scales, which allow it to waddle on the  fresh snow without sinking. The diet of the mountain pheasant consists  of blueberries, rhododendrons, larch and juniper wood easy to find even  in the winter. In order to save its energies and to hide from predators  the mountain pheasant spends most of its winter days in holes dug out in  the snow. The temperature in this “igloo” stays always at a constant 0  degrees while outside it can sink up to -25 degrees.<br />
This species is characterized by spectacular “wedding parades” that take  place in spring, between April and June, in the so-called chanting  arenas or “leks” where several males fight against each other every  morning for their females.<br />
When moving to the right we can see in the diorama a missal thrush and a  finch, who a re trying to nourish themselves with and gentians and  spring anemones sprouting where the snow has melted. Between the twigs  of the rhododendron that hides the nest of the mountain pheasant there  are a citril finch and a sparrow. Further on a rock, we find a wren and  on a larch trunk an alpine tree-creeper in search of insects. Between  summer flowers and blueberries there is a pheasant family composed of a  female pheasant and three chicks, we also find different kinds of  butterflies, including a beautiful white Phoebus Parnassian with its  characteristic red spots. On the lower right of the trunk we find a  viviparous lizard.<br />
The larch is the only conifer to make up the purest woods in the park.  Between an altitude of 2000 and 2200 a moor of rhododendrons and  blueberries replaces the last larches.<br />
In order to make it through the winter at this quote, the plants adopt  different strategies: the soil is hardened by ice and the larch looses  its needles through respiration in order not to loose its water; the  rhododendron, ever-green, always stays covered underneath the snow, the  alpine azalea, the silene acaulis and the stone-breaks make up compact  pillows, which create an inner micro-environment that is much more  livable than the outside one.</p>
<h1>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero</h1>
<p>Le Parc Naturel des Alpes Veglia et Devero a été constitué en 1995;  il sauvegarde 11.000 hectares d’environnements typiquement alpins, entre  le 1600 et 3552 mètres de la cime du Mont Leone.<br />
Cet environnement reproduit une localité de l’Alpe Devero à la limite  supérieure du bois de mélèze, l’endroit particulier du faisan de  montagne.<br />
Comme nous le remarquons tout de suite, le diorama représente des  moments différents des saisons; de gauche à droite nous passons du plein  hiver à l’été déjà avancé.<br />
Dans cet endroit, à 2000 mètres d’altitude, le climat est très rigoureux  et le sol reste couvert de neige pendant plus de 200 jours par an. La  plus grande partie des oiseaux, à l’arrivée de la mauvaise saison, ils  abandonnent le Parc pour des zones au climat plus doux, mais il y a  quelques espèces parfaitement en mesure de résister aux rigueurs du  climat d’hiver. Le faisan de montagne est une de celles-ci.<br />
Les narines et les pattes du faisan de montagne sont couvertes de plumes  et d’une grande couche de plumeaux qui l’isolent du froid. Les doigts  sont plus longs avec des écailles épidermiques latérales qui lui  empêchent de s’effondrer dans la neige fraîche.<br />
Le faisan de montagne se nourrit de baies de myrtilles, de rhododendron,  de mélèze et de genièvres, qu&#8217;il trouve facilement même dans le paysage  complètement enneigé.<br />
Une bonne partie des journées d’hiver, il les passe dans des trous,  creusés dans la neige poudreuse, cela pour épargner ses énergies et pour  se cacher des oiseaux de proie. Comme dans un “igloo”, dans ces refuges  la température est d’environ zéro degrés, tandis qu’au dehors, elle  peut descendre aussi à moins 25.<br />
Les caractéristiques de ces espèces sont les magnifiques parades de noce  qui se déroulent au printemps, entre les mois d’avril et de juin, dans  les surfaces de chant, les “leks”, où, chaque matin, de nombreux mâles  combattent entre eux pour les femelles.<br />
Nous nous déplaçons vers la droite, dans le diorama nous voyons une  grive et un pinson des arbres qui cherchent la nourriture à la limite de  la neige qui est en train de fondre, où poussent des gentianes et des  anémones de printemps. Entre les branches du rhododendron qui abrite le  nid du faisan de montagne, il y a un venturon montagnard et un accenteur  mouchet. Plus loin, sur le rocher, un moineau et sur le tronc du mélèze  un grimpereau alpestre à la recherche d’insectes. Entre les fleurs  d’été et les myrtilles, il y a une famille qui picore, elle est composée  d’une femelle de faisan de montagne et trois petits, de différents  papillons parmi lesquels sur le rhododendron, une jolie petit Apollon  Parnassius phoebus blanche avec les caractéristiques taches rouges. En  bas à droite, à la base du tronc, un lézard vivipare.<br />
Le mélèze est le seul conifère qui constitue les bois purs dans le parc.  Entre les 2000 et les 2002 mètres les derniers minces mélèzes laissent  la place à une bruyère de rhododendrons et de myrtilles.<br />
Pour franchir l’hiver à ces altitudes, les plantes adoptent des  stratagèmes différents: le terrain est aride pour le gel et le mélèze  pour ne pas disperser l’eau à travers la transpiration, il perd ses  aiguilles; le rhododendron, toujours vert, il reste enseveli sous la  neige: l’azalée alpine, le silène acaule et les saxifrages forment des  coussinets compacts qui créent à leur intérieur son micro-endroit, plus  favorable par rapport à celui qui l’entourent</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Il <a title="visita il sito" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.parcofluviale.cuneo.it/" target="_blank">Parco fluviale Gesso e  Stura</a> nasce, come area protetta della regione Piemonte, nel febbraio  2007 con lo scopo di tutelare e valorizzare il territorio del fiume  Stura di Demonte e del torrente Gesso nel Comune di Cuneo.</p>
<p>1500 ettari di ambiente naturale fluviale per lo sport, la didattica,  il tempo libero, la cultura a due passi dal centro città che  rappresenta una cerniera di collegamento con i territori circostanti, a  valle e a monte dove incontra il Parco Naturale delle Alpi Marittime.  Una Rete Verde di percorsi ciclo-pedonali, attualmente di circa 40 km,  raggiungerà i 100 km di estensione per collegare le undici aree in  progetto: quattro riserve naturali e sette aree attrezzate.</p>
<p>Al cuore del parco, ovviamente, l’acqua, con i 30 km che il torrente  Gesso e il fiume Stura percorrono all’interno del Comune di Cuneo.</p>
<p>I diversi ecosistemi legati ai 30 km di acqua che il Gesso e lo Stura  percorrono nel Comune di Cuneo sono popolati da centinaia di specie  animali, alcune anche di particolare interesse conservazionistico: 144  specie di uccelli, 25 di mammiferi, 6 di anfibi, 8 di rettili, 53 di  lepidotteri diurni oltre ad un numero considerevole di insetti e altri  invertebrati. Nel parco ci si può, per esempio, imbattere in un picchio  rosso maggiore al lavoro, nella rarissima farfalla <em>Maculinea arion</em>,  in un capriolo, così come è possibile osservare cormorani, aironi e il  variopinto martin pescatore.</p>
<p>La vegetazione prevalente è di tipo boschivo con querce, robinia,  frassino; particolarmente suggestivo è il bosco planiziale di  Sant’Anselmo, l’unico rimasto intatto all’interno del Comune di Cuneo.  Il resto del territorio è occupato da colture agricole, prati, orti e  vegetazione ripariale con piante d’ontano, pioppo bianco e nero, salice.</p>
<p>Nel parco si trovano anche emergenze di particolare interesse storico  e culturale come santuari, cappelle, mulini, ville, martinetti,  cascinali.</p>
<h1><strong>Cosa fare nel parco?</strong></h1>
<p><strong>Picnic libero, tu porti gli amici noi pensiamo al resto.</strong></p>
<p>Perché il parco è luogo ideale per un picnic fuori porta, senza  neanche dover usare l’auto. Le aree delle Basse di Stura, Santuario  degli Angeli, Madonna della Riva e Via delle Isole (in frazione Madonna  delle Grazie) sono già attrezzate di tavoli, panche e acqua potabile, e  sono raggiungibili a piedi o in bicicletta.</p>
<p><strong>Sport, per chi ama il caldo o per chi ama il freddo. </strong></p>
<p>Una pista 4 stagioni per lo sci di fondo. Ma anche corsa, ippica,  pattinaggio a rotelle, calcio, tennis, beach volley, mountain bike,  ciclismo, nuoto, pesca, trekking, nordic walking, canoa, arrampicata  grazie ai servizi e alle strutture sportive presenti nel parco.</p>
<p><strong>Andare a piedi o in bici</strong></p>
<p>Per godersi appieno la natura e il paesaggio del parco sono stati  individuati alcuni percorsi adatti per escursioni a piedi o in  bicicletta. L’arredo prevede paline, bacheche e leggii che guidano il  visitatore alla scoperta del territorio nei suoi tratti naturalistici e  storico-culturali.</p>

5-Sant’Anselmo, da Madonna delle Grazie fino a Castelletto Stura;<br />
6-Madonna della Riva, da Madonna dell’Olmo verso la frazione Ronchi.</p>
<p><strong>Imparare e divertirsi</strong></p>
<p>Nel parco si trovano emergenze di particolare interesse storico e  culturale come santuari, cappelle, mulini, ville, martinetti, cascinali.</p>
<p>Il Comune di Cuneo, in qualità di ente gestore del parco, promuove  iniziative con finalità ludico-didattiche per adulti e bambini:  escursioni, momenti di festa, laboratori, manifestazioni sportive,  convegni e  mostre su temi legati al territorio fluviale cuneese. Sono  previste anche specifiche attività con le scuole.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Il <a title="visita il sito" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.parcofluviale.cuneo.it/" target="_blank">Parco fluviale Gesso e  Stura</a> nasce, come area protetta della regione Piemonte, nel febbraio  2007 con lo scopo di tutelare e valorizzare il territorio del fiume  Stura di Demonte e del torrente Gesso nel Comune di Cuneo.</p>
<p>1500 ettari di ambiente naturale fluviale per lo sport, la didattica,  il tempo libero, la cultura a due passi dal centro città che  rappresenta una cerniera di collegamento con i territori circostanti, a  valle e a monte dove incontra il Parco Naturale delle Alpi Marittime.  Una Rete Verde di percorsi ciclo-pedonali, attualmente di circa 40 km,  raggiungerà i 100 km di estensione per collegare le undici aree in  progetto: quattro riserve naturali e sette aree attrezzate.</p>
<p>Al cuore del parco, ovviamente, l’acqua, con i 30 km che il torrente  Gesso e il fiume Stura percorrono all’interno del Comune di Cuneo.</p>
<p>I diversi ecosistemi legati ai 30 km di acqua che il Gesso e lo Stura  percorrono nel Comune di Cuneo sono popolati da centinaia di specie  animali, alcune anche di particolare interesse conservazionistico: 144  specie di uccelli, 25 di mammiferi, 6 di anfibi, 8 di rettili, 53 di  lepidotteri diurni oltre ad un numero considerevole di insetti e altri  invertebrati. Nel parco ci si può, per esempio, imbattere in un picchio  rosso maggiore al lavoro, nella rarissima farfalla <em>Maculinea arion</em>,  in un capriolo, così come è possibile osservare cormorani, aironi e il  variopinto martin pescatore.</p>
<p>La vegetazione prevalente è di tipo boschivo con querce, robinia,  frassino; particolarmente suggestivo è il bosco planiziale di  Sant’Anselmo, l’unico rimasto intatto all’interno del Comune di Cuneo.  Il resto del territorio è occupato da colture agricole, prati, orti e  vegetazione ripariale con piante d’ontano, pioppo bianco e nero, salice.</p>
<p>Nel parco si trovano anche emergenze di particolare interesse storico  e culturale come santuari, cappelle, mulini, ville, martinetti,  cascinali.</p>
<h1><strong>Cosa fare nel parco?</strong></h1>
<p><strong>Picnic libero, tu porti gli amici noi pensiamo al resto.</strong></p>
<p>Perché il parco è luogo ideale per un picnic fuori porta, senza  neanche dover usare l’auto. Le aree delle Basse di Stura, Santuario  degli Angeli, Madonna della Riva e Via delle Isole (in frazione Madonna  delle Grazie) sono già attrezzate di tavoli, panche e acqua potabile, e  sono raggiungibili a piedi o in bicicletta.</p>
<p><strong>Sport, per chi ama il caldo o per chi ama il freddo. </strong></p>
<p>Una pista 4 stagioni per lo sci di fondo. Ma anche corsa, ippica,  pattinaggio a rotelle, calcio, tennis, beach volley, mountain bike,  ciclismo, nuoto, pesca, trekking, nordic walking, canoa, arrampicata  grazie ai servizi e alle strutture sportive presenti nel parco.</p>
<p><strong>Andare a piedi o in bici</strong></p>
<p>Per godersi appieno la natura e il paesaggio del parco sono stati  individuati alcuni percorsi adatti per escursioni a piedi o in  bicicletta. L’arredo prevede paline, bacheche e leggii che guidano il  visitatore alla scoperta del territorio nei suoi tratti naturalistici e  storico-culturali.</p>
<p>Percorsi ciclabili:</p>
<p>1-Torrente Gesso, dal Parco della Gioventù fino a  Borgo San  Dalmazzo;<br />
2-Via Antica di Vignolo, dalle Basse di Stura fino a Cervasca e Vignolo;<br />
3-Confluenza, di collegamento tra Parco della Gioventù e Basse di Stura;<br />
4-Fiume Stura, da Via Cascina Colombaro in direzione Borgo San Dalmazzo;<br />
5-Sant’Anselmo, da Madonna delle Grazie fino a Castelletto Stura;<br />
6-Madonna della Riva, da Madonna dell’Olmo verso la frazione Ronchi.</p>
<p><strong>Imparare e divertirsi</strong></p>
<p>Nel parco si trovano emergenze di particolare interesse storico e  culturale come santuari, cappelle, mulini, ville, martinetti, cascinali.</p>
<p>Il Comune di Cuneo, in qualità di ente gestore del parco, promuove  iniziative con finalità ludico-didattiche per adulti e bambini:  escursioni, momenti di festa, laboratori, manifestazioni sportive,  convegni e  mostre su temi legati al territorio fluviale cuneese. Sono  previste anche specifiche attività con le scuole.</p>
