The origins of Fortress Flea date back to those of the Roman “Tadinia“, yet the first written documents date 10th century, when the historian Jacobili described it as the residence of Count Vico Di Lupo di Foligno, and later, of other 3 Bishops-Counts. In the St. Angels’ Chapel were recently found the 14th century Frescos of the Trinity, portrayed with three heads and censored by the Vatican for this reason in the 16th century.
