Besides Baroque and Liberty masterpieces one can find constructions carried out by the greatest contemporary architects, who marked the transformation of the city, begun in the 90′s and accelerated by the 2006 Olympic Winter Games: an occasion to reveal to the world a renewed city, thanks to its beauty, its modernity, its comforts and facilities, and above all its energy.
After a century as a Italian Capital city for industry, and for Fiat in particular, the city has gone beyond cars, focusing on new strategic sectors such as food, bio-Tech, ICT, design and finance. Witnesses of that change are the designer Pininfarina and Italdesign-Giugiaro, yachts of Azimut, coffee Lavazza and large banking realities such as the Group Intesa-Sanpaolo and bank CRT, which flowed into Unicredit group.
